On Wednesday 10 August 2022, St. Lawrence Band welcomed His Eminence, Cardinal Mario Grech at the entrance of the Vittoriosa City together with the Archpriest Can. Karm Busuttil and MayorJohn Boxall. After the Pontifical Anthem, a corteo to the Collegiate Church followed. Solemn Pontifical Mass was celebrated on the occasion of the feast.

After the mass the His Eminence, Mario Grech met with the Officers of the Committee where he was presented with a cardinal zucchetto.
