World renowned composer, Italian Antonino Oddo made a courtesy visit to Palazzo Huesca on Maundy Thursday where he was greeted by the President and Committee members of the Saint Lawrence Musical Society. He was taken around the Palace where he  could notice the last preparations in view of the Good Friday procession. He was also well impressed with the musical archives of the Band. After signing the visitors book he presented a copy of all his funeral marches to be played by the band when deemed necessary. On the other hand the Saint Lawrence Musical Society presented to Maestro Oddo a copy of the Funeral Marches USB drive published this year. Oddo is being hosted here in Malta by the Socjeta’ Filarmonika Nazzjonali La Vallette.
