On Friday 7th  June 2019, the Saint Lawrence Band Club organized the Annual Musical Programme, under the name of  Birgu Spring Concert at St. John’s Tower in Vittoriosa. The Saint Lawrence Band Club, which was under the baton of Mro Jonathan Abela, performed a variety of musical pieces which were received excellently by the good crowd who attended the Concert. Such music pieces included compositions by local bandsman Andrew Zarb, an arrangement by Mro. Jonathan Abela, together with pieces from Verdi, Whitney, Waldteufel and Moss. Another confirmation by the Saint Lawrence Band that it is not only the Vittoriosa Band but also one of the main bands on our island.
