Sunday 24 March 2019 marked the last day of Mr Lawrence V. Farrugia as President of the Saint Lawrence Band Club. Lorry, as known by everyone, worked in the ranks of the Saint Lawrence Band Club for decades and he was elected President in 1987. Thank you is the least one can say to Lorry. His work and contribution in the Saint Lawrence Band Club can be experienced all the time: a majestic Palazzo, a renowned and popular band with a great number of performances and a strong organisation. Thank you for this inheritance. The people of Vittoriosa, especially supporters of the feast of Saint Lawrence, definitely recognise your contributions.
