Last Saturday 14th April, 2018 the Saint Lawrence Band recorded a set of marches which will be issued on a CD in the coming weeks. Amongst the recorded marches one finds various marches of popular composers namely Jonathan Abela, Assistant Francois Borg, local bandsmen Chris Pisani and Andrew Zarb, ex-Musical Directors Hector Dalli and Paul Schembri together with marches composed by Luigi Bongailas, Ray Sciberras, Emanuel Bugeja, Joseph Azzopardi, Vincenzo Ciappara and Major Anthony Aquilina. This CD together with another innovative project will be launched on Friday 18th May, 2018 as part of the Feasts of the first Wednesday of Saint Lawrence.
