During the annual reception Mr Lino Micallef on behalf of the Saint Lawrence Society of Melbourne presented the official banner that was used during the years by this Society. For many years the Saint Lawrence Society organized the Feast of St Lawrence in Melbourne. Now that this Society is no longer functionable the banner was presented to the President of the St Lawrence Musical Society, Vittoriosa Mr Lawrence V. Farrugia.
