On Sunday 4th August,2019 the Directors of Be Birgu invited the Committee, Honorary Presidents, Maestros and other persons  close to the Musical Society for a dinner in the yard of Palazzo Huesca. This dinner was organized as a big thank you to ex-President Mr Lawrence V. Farrugia who has just ended his long tenure and as a welcome to newly elected President Mr Bjorn Callus.

The Directors of Be Birgu also presented a token of appreciation.  Following the speeches, Mr Lawrence V. Farrugia was given a memento to mark this occassion by the President and Committee members in order to thank him for more than fifty years service towards the Musical Society.
