The Saint Lawrence Band had a busy weekend playing on Saturday 28th April through a Brass Quintet during the ceremony of the unveiling of the restored titular Preti painting. The Quintet was under the direction of Mro. Jonathan Abela.

On Sunday 29th April the band took part in the ceremony of the new Archpriest by playing band marches from Triq Boffa, Main Gate Street, Vittoriosa Square towards the Conventual Church of Saint Lawrence. At 6pm Archbishop Charles J. Scicluna concelebrated Holy Mass.
