The inauguration of Preti’s titular painting – Saturday 28th April, 2018

Tomorrow Saturday the 28th day of April, 2018 the titular painting of the Martyrdom of Saint Lawrence, a masterpiece of Mattia Preti will be inaugurated after extensive restoration works by Recoop. The ceremony will start at 730pm and will be presided by Archbishop Charles J. Scicluna. The Saint Lawrence Band will be participating in this event through a Brass Ensemble under the musical direction of Jonathan Abela.
