Preparations for Holy Week are underway at Saint Lawrence Band Club, where various services are being diligently organised. These include a program featuring sacred and funeral music scheduled for Friday, March 15th, as well as participation in the processions on Good Friday and Easter Sunday. These services represent a significant financial commitment for the Society, but we consider them our solemn duty to undertake. A heartfelt thank you is extended to the composers who have contributed a Funeral Marches for this year’s events: Jonathan Abela, Melanie Mizzi, Rene Barbara, Andrew Lawrence Zarb, Christopher Pisani, and Michael Pirotta.
