Meeting with representatives from St. George Band, Cospicua

Last week, representatives from the central committee of the Saint Lawrence Band Club met with representatives of the Saint George Band Club of Cospicua and Saint Lawrence External Festivities Committee of Vittoriosa.

Discussions during this meeting which was held in Palazzo Huesca were about the musical performance which the Saint George Band Club will perform together with the Saint Lawrence Band Club on 30 July 2019, in the activities commemorating the 75 anniversary of the return of the statue of Saint Lawrence in Vittoriosa after WWII.

In addition, the musical performance of the Saint Lawrence Band Club on Saturday 16 November 2019 in Cospicua was discussed, where this band will be representing Vittoriosa in celebrations held in Cospicua commemorating the same anniversary pertaining to the statue of the Immaculate Conception.

The representatives of the respective committees also discussed on a way forward to strengthen the relationship in the upcoming years.
